We operate a live booking system
It works the same way as buying a ticket to the theatre or a concert, which means we cannot accept any cancellations, refunds or reschedules.
Bookings are available for teams of 3-6 (4-7 The 13th Element). Due to the complexity of the games we do not recommend or take bookings for teams of 2, as this can make the challenge too difficult & ultimately affect your enjoyment of our games.
Our games are designed for adults
We do welcome younger players 12+ (14+ for Mr Chuckles funhouse) as part of a team. EACH player under the age of 18 must be accompanied by one adult 18+. For example 3 players aged 14 would need 3 players age 18+ to accompany them.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked start time
If you arrive late we will have to reduce the playing time of your game, and if you arrive more than 10 minutes after your start, we will unfortunately have to cancel your game and no refund or reschedule will be offered. It’s important to allow plenty of extra time for traffic and also parking when you arrive.
We operate a strict no alcohol policy on the premises and request that you also don’t drink before the game. Your game host will NOT let anyone under the influence of alcohol take part in the game. If we suspect any member of the team to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs we reserve the right to cancel your game and no refund will be given.
Mobile phones and cameras are strictly prohibited within the game areas
They must not be taken out at any point during the game. If we see you break this rule your game will be stopped immediately and no refund given.
Every player must take part in the pre-game briefing.
All bookings must be made in advance
We take bookings online up to 4 hours before the game if space is available. You can also call us to book on 01625 437437.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
Payments may be shown on your statement as 'Whittakers'
If Escape Quest must cancel your game for any reason, we will contact you by telephone on the number supplied to rearrange your booking. Escape Quest owned by Whittakers are responsible only for the cost of your booking with us. We will, of course, contact you in advance with any foreseeable cancelations, although in the case of emergencies or things beyond our control (such as power failure) we will contact you as soon as possible.
